I didn't have the luxury of reading reviews before i needed service for my son's Suzuki Forester. I live in a small oil town where the local mechanics are backed up for weeks. When the clutch went out in his car, he had just started a new job and couldn't afford to be without transportation. I called the local mechanic and was told the estimated cost was 1500.00 and he couldn't even look at it for 2 weeks and probably 2 weeks after that to work on it. I had a friend load the car on a trailer and head to Amarillo (100 miles away) I called around to several shops while the vehicle was in transport in the hopes of finding someone comfortable enough to work on a Suzuki. I had never even heard of Aardvark automotive but the man that answered the phone (Brandon) seemed very knowledgeable on my car and was very friendly and helpful. He gave a broad estimate and said he didn't feel comfortable diagnosing without seeing the car (which i appreciate) He said he could look at the car that day and call me back with an estimate, which is exactly what he did. We picked the car up today (less than a week after they received it). The total cost was slightly less than the quote, which was LESS than my local mechanic quoted, and the car is running perfectly, according to my son. I am very pleased with the prompt,courteous, and professional service i received from Aardvark. I have 4 cars and they are all foreign. Aardvark is my new mechanic service!
